Help C.A.R.E. by becoming a
foster parent

If you are home most of the day and have experience with either cats or dogs, you could help C.A.R.E. by becoming a foster parent. Each Spring and Fall, C.A.R.E. receives many litters of puppies and kittens that need special attention and loving care.  We also occasionally have special needs adult or older pets that don't do well at the shelter and would benefit from being in a home environment.

Foster homes must have their own transportation and be in Evanston or the immediate area so the animals can be brought to local vets for checkups and can be seen by potential adopters at the shelter as necessary.

Please call our voicemail at (847)705-2653 and leave a message for Chris if you are interested in fostering kittens, or for Linda if you are interested in fostering puppies.
