Join us for the 20th Annual Strut for Strays in Harms Woods
Please note the new event location
On May 16th, dogs and their guardians will make their way to Harms Woods - North for the Community Animal Rescue Effort's Strut for Strays. Hundreds of paws and feet will hit the ground walking (or running) for the 3-mile event.
WHO IS INVITED
Fun-loving people, with or without a four-footed canine companion. Although cats and other pets are not allowed, you can run or walk in honor of a favorite animal friend.
WHERE IS THE WALK?
The walk starts at Harms Woods - North in Morton Grove (Harms Road at Old Orchard Road). Look for the C.A.R.E. event signs. The route goes North from Harms Woods - North to the pedestrian overpass at Lake Street. Turn around at the water station near Lake Street. However, you may turn around at any point if your dog is tired or your feet are barkin'! Come back to the start point for refreshments and the Doggie Carnival!
