On Saturday, May 10th, dogs and their guardians will make their way to the Ladd Arboretum for the Community Animal Rescue Effort's Strut for Strays. Hundreds of paws and feet will hit the ground walking (or running) for the 3-mile event.
Please note that as of May 10, 2014, C.A.R.E. will be operating as an independent organization and will no longer be based at the Evanston Animal Shelter. C.A.R.E. will continue our efforts as an animal rescue organization in the North Shore. Your support of our organization and events will help us to open our own local facility and will allow us to continue to rescue and provide care for abandoned animals.
