Tuesdays have gone to the dogs (and cats)!  Dine at Gruppo di Amici in Rogers Park on Tuesdays and 5% of your dinner tab will be donated to C.A.R.E!

Strut for Strays

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Come join us on our 3 mile walk, with or without your dog. There will be fun activities for all. Enjoy meeting other pups, attend our Doggie Carnival and other fun activities.

Dog Wash - June 12th

We'll wash your dog and clip his nails in order to raise money for animals in need. On shelter grounds (2310 Oakton) from 9 am to 2 pm. 

$10 - Wash and Towel Dry

$10 - Nail Trimming

Parking Notice: Please park in the PetSmart parking lot (near the street) and cross at the light. We'll have a crossing guard stationed there throughout the Dog Wash.

Bake Sale at the Evanston Farmer's Market
October 2nd
7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come visit us at the Farmer's Market. We'll have plenty of delicious baked goods for sale.

Holiday C.A.R.E. Faire

Saturday, November 27th

Pet photos with Santa from 2009  are online for perusal or purchase.

Happy Howlidays and a Purry New Year! Come one, come all to C.A.R.E. for the Evanston Animal Shelter's Holiday C.A.R.E. Faire. Bring your pup or kit to have their picture taken with Santa. Stock up on home-baked cookies and more in our famous Cookie Walk Bake Sale. Enter our Raffle to win fabulous prizes or buy gifts for your pet loving friends from crafters and vendors. Donations of canned food will be accepted for the dogs and cats at the Evanston Animal Shelter.

The C.A.R.E. Faire will be held at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge (at Greenwood). 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
